Carter is the son of Reverend Matthew Whistler and his wife, MaryEllen Whistler of Pen Argyl, PA. He began attending Faith Christian School in grade six after being homeschooled through his elementary and fifth grade years. Carter played soccer for the varsity team at Faith Christian for five years. Carter also played varsity basketball for four years, and in his senior year, he was named co-captain of the team. Carter is an active member in the National Honor Society, having served a year term as treasurer in his junior year and a year term as president in his senior year. He also served as his class secretary during his senior year. He is an active member of Faith Alive Community Church in Wind Gap, PA, where he regularly volunteers in the children’s church ministry, helps with lawn care, and assists the tech team. His favorite Bible verse is Lamentations 3:22-24. In the fall of 2022, he will be attending Northampton Community College, where he will complete his core course work while seeking the Lord’s plan for his future.
