Caroline is the daughter of Steve and Denise Metzgar of Stroudsburg, PA. Having begun her education at Pocono Elementary Center, Caroline began attending Faith Christian School in fourth grade. Caroline played both varsity soccer and basketball over the past four years, serving as soccer team captain in grades eleven and twelve, and as captain of the basketball team her senior year. She also competed on the varsity track team in grades nine and ten; Caroline was also a cheerleader in tenth grade. Involved in both National Honor Society and student council, she served as her class president in her freshman and sophomore years of high school and senior class chaplain. She was elected as vice-president of the student council her senior year. Caroline sang with the praise team and high school chorus. She serves as the youth representative on the council of Christ Hamilton United Lutheran Church. Her favorite Bible verse is Romans 5:5. In the fall, Caroline will be attending Northampton Community College to complete her general education requirements. Her long-term goals include some type of career with therapy so that she can work with the intellectually handicapped community, as she feels that God has given her a heart for this population. She hopes to use her career for missions to share Christ’s love and further God’s kingdom.
