Jalen is the son of James and Oneida Wilson of Stroudsburg, PA. He began attending Faith Christian School as a kindergartener. As an athlete, Jalen played basketball as both a middle school and high school student, and was a captain of the varsity team his senior year. Likewise, he competed as part of the soccer team while at FCS. Active in student government, he served as his class vice-president during his first three years of high school and continued to hold a class office while also serving as vice-president of FCS Student Council. Additionally, Jalen sang on the school praise team and in the chorus. Jalen has also been inducted into the National Honor Society. He attends Calvary Bible Church in East Stroudsburg, and his favorite Bible verse is Matthew 6:34 – “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” In the fall, he plans on attending Northampton Community College to complete his general course studies while waiting on the Lord to guide his future steps.
