Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate would have earned a B.S/B.A. degree in music education with successful student teaching experience and a definite call to teach in a Christian School. We will consider experience in leading a SATB choir and children’s musicals in lieu of the degree. ACSI or PA state certification preferred. In addition, the candidate must be a mature born again Christian believer, capable of modeling exemplary Christian character and leadership.

The main duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
1. Effectively plan, instruct, and lead student musical performances. Instruct a section of MS and a section of HS students in band performance. Effectively instruct individual students or small groups in instrument lessons for the 2025-26 school year. A positive Christian testimony should be reflected in the selection of music performed and taught.
2. Develop spiritual maturity of each student through integrating, applying and communicating biblical truth.
